Electromagnets for thick pipes

The special series of DIMET EMGT electromagnets for thick pipes is used for handling large-size pipes. The structure of the electromagnet with special supports incorporated into the poles in order to increase the contact area with the load is adapted to the particularities of the load to be transported. This solution makes it possible to achieve higher performance from the EMTB series electromagnets. This type of electromagnet is used mainly in crossings. Available in a heat-resistant version for hot loads (up to 650 ˚С).

Benefits

• The solid special welded housing is designed for use under unfavorable environmental conditions and has a large heat transfer surface and a reinforced impact-resistant layer to protect the two-piece terminal boxes.
• The coil material is high-quality wire with increased insulation, which significantly reduces the risk of interturn short circuit. This wire makes the electromagnet especially easy to repair, since in the event of a failure the coil only has to be rewound.
• The thermal insulation seal provides an optimal coil temperature during use of the electromagnet with loads up to 650° С, thus ensuring load-carrying stability.
• The high-quality filling compound prevents electrical breakdown between the coil wire and the housing and reduces overheating of the electromagnetic coil.
• The reinforced shielding plate is reliable protection for the coil with a noticeably longer service life of the electromagnet. The clamping bands of the electromagnets are made of steel grade 09G2S, which is characterized by high strength and greater wear resistance.
