Electromagnets for steel sheets by units

The DIMET EMGS series of electromagnets for steel sheets by units is a series of light, low-power magnets with a deep magnetic field that have been designed for specific tasks. The aim is not to offer an enormous lifting capacity, so these magnets have reduced weight and energy consumption.

The construction of these electromagnets for loose metal sheets ensures that a magnetic field is generated on the surface. Commonly, several electromagnets mounted on a crossbeam are used to transport a metal plate. This avoids the load from bending, deforming, or detaching.

• The solid special welded housing has been designed for use under unfavorable environmental conditions and has a large thermal transmission surface and a reinforced impact layer to protect the two-piece terminal boxes.
• The high-quality coil wire with greater insulation significantly reduces the risk of interturn short circuits. This wire makes the electromagnet especially easy to repair, since in the event of a failure the coil only needs to be rewound.
• The thermal insulation seal provides an optimum coil temperature during use of the electromagnet with loads of up to 650° С, thus guaranteeing load capacity stability.
• The high-quality filling compound prevents electrical breakdown between the coil wire and the housing and reduces overheating of the electromagnetic coil.
• The reinforced shielding plate is reliable protection for the coil with a notably longer service life of the electromagnet. The tightening bands of the electromagnets are made of 09G2S grade steel, which is characterized by high robustness and greater wear resistance.
